The Park and Ride parking allows users of the Public Transport network to park their vehicles near the train or bus station, with the goal of facilitating access and promoting the use of collective transportation.
Once the parking ticket is started at the Park & Ride parking lot, the user must verify that they are indeed a passenger at the nearest train station. Otherwise, the parking permit will automatically be canceled after 20 minutes.
Validation via Bluetooth
Currently, validation requires the user to pass through the station access turnstiles and approach the sign or validation point located within the station or on the platform, where the app can automatically detect a proximity sensor using Bluetooth technology.
Important: To be able to validate the ticket via Bluetooth, it is essential to grant permissions and enable both BLUETOOTH and PRECISE LOCATION on the smartphone.
Important: To validate the parking ticket, you must get closer than one meter (<1 meter) to the validation sensor. This is especially necessary for iPhone users.
Once the Park & Ride ticket has been successfully validated, the app will display a green screen indicating the ticket is active. The maximum parking time is usually until the end of the regulated hours.
Location of the Validation Point
- Les Franqueses / Granollers Nord Station (ATM-001): The validation point is located inside the station after passing the access control gates, to the left. It consists of a vertical limited parking sign with a Bluetooth sensor extending from the top.
- Cardedeu Station (ATM-002): The validation point is located just after passing through the access control gates and at the exit to the platform, on the left. It consists of a vertical limited parking sign with a Bluetooth sensor extending from the top. There is also a validation point near the stairs for changing platforms.
